Als Europäer, der echtes italienisches Essen kennt und auch einige male in den USA und Kanada war, bin ich immer etwas skeptisch, wenn dort italienische Gerichte serviert werden, daher hat mich das Essen überrascht. Die Carbonara habe ich das letzte Mal in Rom in der Qualität gegessen und auch die Bolognese war sehr gut und lange gekocht. Gleiches galt für den Nachtisch. Unser Kellner war äußerst aufmerksam, aber keineswegs aufdringlich, was eine entspannte Atmosphäre erzeugt hat. Für jeden der authentische italienische Küche genießen möchte, ein muss!

Sehr gutes Essen und freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Der Lachs ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Had the salmon, clams, and bolognese. All were near perfect. Service fantastic. Atmosphere and music was super chill. I WILL BE BACK!

One of the best italian meals we have had in a long time. Service was great as well.

Dropped in tonight to check out the place and the food was wonderful. The parmigiana was done beautifully. The pistachio went really well in their panna cotta, although it was a wonder we had space for desert after the rest of the food. Our server Tristan was a gem and attentive. Will be excited to be back to try out the pizza whenever your woodfire is running.

Great find within walking distance of the out of town hotel.

It is sad but this is one of very few restaurants in Canada that actually has a chef who can cook (and not just fry stuff). It is sad to be from Europe and observing that normal cooked meals are considered haute cuisine (and charged through the roof) in Canada.

Super service with a smile, lovely little touches with ice glasses, everyone enjoyed their meal. Risotto was a little underdone, but it’s difficult to get right, arrancini was a win though. And the drinks selection was varied and lovely for a refreshment after a looooooong drive down.
